The 7-minute mindful pause


When you find yourself restless and unsure of what to do next, I suggest you pause and create a space of peace and calm. Instead of eating to fill a void or deal with unsettling emotions, simply sit for 7 minutes, investigate and ask your “higher self” for an answer. Only when we allow ourselves to create space for this kind of gentle curiosity will our inner wisdom arise.

We have all the answers we are looking for. The trick is to give the wise woman (the elder) in us a chance to guide us, direct and support us with loving care. Listen to her whisper: “Honey, just sit and be still… then you’ll know… the answers will come.”
