NEW Workshop: "Be at Peace with Food & Your Body"
Save the date! On January 7, 2023 I will be facilitating the in-person workshop: "Be at Peace with Food & Your Body - A Mindful Alternative to New Year's Resolutions" in collaboration with Workzones Santa Barbara.
Rather than stressing about rules, restrictions and resolutions give yourself permission to cruise into the new year by setting an intention and exploring mindfulness practices. What seeds to you want to plant? What would you like to add to your life and what would you like to let go of? Are you tired of dieting and starting over, again and again? Research confirms that diets don’t work longterm. So, why try another one? If you want to explore and learn how to have a healthy and relaxed relationship with food and your body, this two-hour in-person self-care workshop is for you!
Participants will be:
introduced to new healthy life-enhancing rituals, which will replace the ritual of comfort eating during stressful and challenging times.
encouraged to take charge of their physical and emotional wellbeing, and to replace comfort eating with calming and nurturing rituals.
guided to practice mindful self-compassion exercises.
invited to journal about what to let go of and what to bring into their lives.
empowered to discover their "true path" and to design small action steps, which can easily be implemented into their daily routine.
gaining a deeper understanding about cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness practices.
sharing their story with like-minded participants, who are ready to shift to a higher level of awareness and greater self-care, and to fill their inner self-love reservoir.
assured that this will be a "safe space" for connecting and sharing.
